On November 19, Jilin Province Governor Hu Yuting led a delegation to Dongchi Energy for an inspection of the company's solid-state battery research and production. Accompanying Governor Hu were Changchun Party Secretary Zhang Enhui, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology Ma Yi, Director of the China-Korea Demonstration Zone Management Committee Tang Dapeng, and other relevant officials. Dongchi Energy’s Chairman, Xie Haiming, warmly welcomed the delegation.
The visit began with a tour of Dongchi Energy’s digital showroom, where the delegation was briefed on the company’s development history, technological achievements, cooperation projects, industrial planning, and the performance of its solid-state batteries. The various parameters, application scenarios, and system solutions were also presented in detail.
Accompanied by Chairman Xie Haiming, the delegation visited the solid-state battery production line, where they observed the entire production process and core technology demonstrations. The visitors paused at each stage of the production process, inquiring about solid-state battery manufacturing techniques, market demand, and other key details.
Governor Hu emphasized the importance of seizing the opportunities presented by the dual-carbon strategy to integrate deeply into the province's leapfrog development in new energy. He highlighted the need to leverage technological advantages and increase demonstration efforts in areas such as clean heating, charging and swapping stations, and green energy park construction. Governor Hu called for an expansion of production capacity and urged provincial and municipal governments to strengthen policy support, enhance services for enterprises, and assist companies in growing and becoming stronger.
