On September 25, during the 2024 Yangtze River Delta New Energy Storage Industry Development Forum at the China Industrial Expo Smart Energy Exhibition, the Yangtze River Delta New Energy Storage Industry Development White Paper (2024) was officially released. It systematically details the general situation of the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region, covering aspects such as enterprise clustering, installed capacity, and demonstration projects. The White Paper highlights several outstanding new energy storage enterprises in the region that are developing technologies in areas like compressed air energy storage, flywheel energy storage, and electrochemical energy storage. It also analyzes major breakthroughs in new energy storage technologies in the YRD and proposes specific development paths to overcome existing bottlenecks in the industry.
